Progress.

Just a quick update, because I have lots of stuff to do. I can report progress – since my new editor took over it is going very well. I am really glad about and try to be as fast as possible in filling in all the papers the publisher needs from me. I do not want any delay.

I also finished another project I was doing for a big publishing house and will send out my manuscript next week. It was a project I was writing in German and so my plan was to get this done before I will go on writing the new project in English. Switching the languages all the time is not the best idea.

On Monday I had a meeting with colleagues in Sweden and Israel. I think, I was able to help with structuring their planned study. I am looking forward to see the final results at some point.

Since the weather turned into what I call a summer day and we had a family celebration on Wednesday, I had one day off. It was a great event: nice people, great food (I made it 😊 BTW do you know I wrote a cook book? You can order it here https://www.melaniecarinaschmoll.com/about, just scroll down), cold drinks, sunshine, pool for the kids, laughter and lots of good wishes.

Since I took the entire day off, I had to compensate the next days. I worked on a new study and learned a lot about religious studies and religious education in schools. I realized I need to do way more traveling! There is so much to see and learn in this world – I would love to start right now 😊.

But before I can start planning any new trips, I need to organize the next one to Canada… as always: I am waiting for replies. It is a week now, without any notes if my planned meetings will take place.

No words.

Will send out the reminders today, so people will have them tomorrow when they open their computers… happy Monday 😉

Although the entire country seems to get crazy over the soccer parties, world politics is not sleeping. Especially the situation on the Northern front in Israel is worrying https://www.juedische-allgemeine.de/israel/sorge-vor-kriegsausbruch-im-libanon-waechst/ . But as long as the daily shelling, arson and destruction by the Hezbollah missiles continues and thousands of Israelis are internally displaced somewhere in the country, there can be no calming of the situation. Talking about the Northern front… I also absolutely agree with the following: https://www.juedische-allgemeine.de/meinung/die-verantwortung-der-oeffentlich-rechtlichen/

Within the text a report is mentioned, in which the reporter speaks about the Northern front in a news clip filmed on site. I watched it live on TV and was really angry about. So angry, that I wrote the "Tagesschau" editorial team right away and asked for more neutrality – I certainly got no answer.
